Melco D100 Compact Disc Drive provides you with the best possible ‘rips’ from discs. Rather than use inferior disc drives used for general IT applications, the D100 has been specially developed for audio, in line with Melco’s wider audio-specific design philosophy. It can also be used a highly accurate CD transport for use with a USB DAC. The D100 drive benefits from an elaborate mechanical construction designed to eliminate intrusive vibrations, a high-quality audio-specific CD loader, plus a separate high-performance power supply. Connection is via USB 3.0.

Technical Information

The Melco D100 simply plugs into the USB port of any Melco music library to allow for the simple importation orplayback of Red Book CD when used with a suitable USB DAC. The D100 negates the need to import CDs to play. Archival-quality imports from the latest generation Japanese audio-specific CD drive – not a cheap disposable IT device.

High-grade, audio-specific, Melco-built components including the Melco HS-S2 isolation platform (Highly Stable Storage System). Also ideal for PC-based music rip installations using other ripping software for higher quality rips.

Melco D100 specification

Melco E100 expansion drive 3TB

High performance from selected HDD HDD, plus Melco HS-S2 isolation platform (Highly Stable Storage System). Simply plug the E100 into any model of Melco music library to increase capacity by 3TB.

The rear USB3.0 Type A port duplicates the socket used by the E100. This gives USB DAC connectivity for N10 / N100 or N1Mk1 without a dedicated USB DAC port.

The additional USB port also allows a second E300 to be simply daisy-chained to give additional 6TB storage.
